ERBIL – Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani confirmed on Monday that negotiations over Iraq’s presidency are ongoing. He said the parties have not reached an agreement yet. PM Barzani stressed that talks continue and highlighted the importance of Kurdish unity during this process.
Barzani emphasized that all discussions aim to maintain stability in Western Kurdistan and across Iraq. He urged political groups to prioritize national interests and the well-being of citizens.
