Authorities in Erbil have announced plans to build a new neighborhood specifically designed for the Christian community. The project aims to provide modern housing and essential services for Christian families who have long faced challenges finding suitable homes within the city.
According to local officials, the new area will include residential units, schools, health centers, and places of worship to ensure a comfortable and inclusive environment. The plan also includes green spaces and public facilities that promote community interaction and cultural harmony.
The Erbil administration emphasized that the project reflects the Kurdistan Region’s long-standing tradition of coexistence and respect among different religions and ethnicities.
