Cleaning 100-Meter Main Street in Erbil with Water Tanks and Equipment

Environmental authorities in Erbil cleaned and disinfected a 100-meter main street in the city center. The operation took place early in the morning.

The Erbil Environmental Services Directorate announced that at 6 a.m., teams began washing and disinfecting the street. They used six water tanks and six high-pressure cleaning machines to complete the task. The street was fully cleaned and disinfected within hours.

Officials highlighted that cleaning the streets helps prevent pollution and ensures public safety. They said such efforts will continue regularly in the coming days to maintain hygiene in the city.

Environmental authorities also noted that timely cleaning prevents the buildup of dirt and debris, contributing to a safer and more pleasant urban environment for residents and visitors.

The operation reflects Erbil’s ongoing commitment to improving city sanitation and maintaining clean public spaces across the capital.
