Faili Kurds Defend Their Electoral Victory and Reject New Political Pressure

Faili Kurdish leaders condemned recent remarks from the former Wasit governor and demanded full respect for their political rights. They argued that his statements attempt to mislead the public, and they stressed that these tactics threaten democratic stability. Moreover, they warned that certain groups continue seeking influence over quota seats in Baghdad, and they urged voters to stay alert to these efforts.

Faili representatives reaffirmed their recent electoral victory. They explained that citizens supported their candidates through a clear and legitimate process. Furthermore, they stated that this result reflects growing confidence in Faili political voices. They also promised to defend this achievement during every stage of upcoming negotiations in Baghdad.

Community leaders highlighted growing concerns about renewed manipulation attempts. They noted that several actors try to pressure Faili voters or distort public opinion. Additionally, they argued that such tactics undermine minority representation and weaken trust in the election system. They encouraged state institutions to guarantee transparent procedures and protect all communities from interference.

Faili Kurds also emphasized the importance of unity. They urged political groups within the community to coordinate their messages and strengthen their strategy. Moreover, they said united positions prevent external forces from exploiting internal divisions. They also encouraged young activists to take part in public discussions and support long-term political engagement.

Through these firm statements, Faili Kurds delivered a clear message: they intend to protect their rights, defend their electoral gains, and confront any attempts to diminish their role in the political landscape.
