Finance Minister Confirms Salaries While Judge Highlights Constitution

Kurdistan’s Finance Minister announced that September salaries for the KRG will be paid within a week. He emphasized that timely payments are essential to maintain public trust and economic stability. Moreover, he noted that ensuring regular salaries strengthens confidence in regional institutions and services.

At the same MEPS forum, Judge Faiq Zidan spoke about Kurdistan’s broader governance challenges. He stressed that the constitution remains the foundation for political stability. Furthermore, he highlighted that an impartial judiciary is crucial for upholding laws and protecting citizens’ rights. Zidan argued that adherence to these principles prevents disputes and builds public trust.

The judge also noted that respecting the constitution encourages cooperation between Erbil and Baghdad. He explained that legal frameworks guide fair governance and reduce political tensions. Additionally, Zidan emphasized that strong institutions support long-term development and democratic practices.

Together, these announcements reinforced the link between economic stability and political order. Timely salary payments show government reliability, while constitutional adherence ensures balanced governance. Leaders urged all parties to continue working within legal frameworks to address challenges. Observers expect that this dual focus on finance and law will strengthen trust across Kurdistan and improve citizen confidence.
