Iraq–Kurdistan Leaders Reaffirm Salary Deal

Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani met Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani in Duhok to review recent political and financial developments. Both leaders reaffirmed their salary agreement and underscored their commitment to ensuring regular payments for public employees. Moreover, they stressed that cooperation remains essential for stability between Erbil and Baghdad.

Barzani welcomed the meeting and emphasized that clear communication strengthens trust between both governments.
