President Masoud Barzani met Khalid Azad, a senior official from the Kurdistani Diaspora Confederation, and held a detailed discussion about the growing global role of the Kurdish diaspora. The president welcomed Azad warmly and emphasized the importance of stronger links between the diaspora and the homeland. Both sides quickly agreed that Kurdish communities abroad shape international perceptions and strengthen Kurdish identity.

Azad outlined the confederation’s recent activities. He explained how Kurdish organizations across Europe, America, and other regions build cultural bridges.
