Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani issued a message congratulating citizens on the completion of Iraq’s sixth parliamentary elections held on November 11, 2025. He emphasized the historic success of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), which emerged as the leading party nationwide.
In his statement, Barzani praised the people of Kurdistan and Iraq for participating in the democratic process. He also extended congratulations to the families of martyrs, the heroic Peshmerga forces, and all members of Kurdish society who contributed to a peaceful and secure election.
