Kurdistan Region Distributes Salaries to Contract Teachers and Some Permanent and Contract Employees

The Ministry of Finance and Economy of the Kurdistan Region announced the distribution of July salaries to contract teachers and some permanent employees.

According to an official statement, the payments cover contract teachers under the Ministries of Education and Higher Education and Scientific Research. Salaries will be disbursed directly to their accounts, ensuring timely access for all eligible recipients.

At the same time, the ministry confirmed that, on the same day, salaries for July and December of 2025 will also be distributed to all permanent employees who have been employed on a contract or permanent basis since July 1, 2024, under the government’s payroll system.

The ministry emphasized that all payments will be made from the Kurdistan Region’s domestic budget, highlighting its commitment to fully supporting public sector workers.

This step ensures that educators and officials receive their rightful compensation without delay. Officials stated that the initiative reflects the regional government’s continued efforts to maintain financial stability and meet the needs of its workforce.

By allocating these funds, the Kurdistan Region aims to support both education and public administration, ensuring employees can focus on their professional duties. The ministry encouraged recipients to check their accounts and report any discrepancies promptly to ensure smooth distribution.

This measure reinforces the region’s commitment to transparency, efficiency, and the well-being of its workforce.
