ERBIL, Kurdistan Region – Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani and French President Emmanuel Macron discussed rising regional tensions in a phone call and stressed the need for urgent de-escalation.
During the conversation, both leaders reviewed the latest developments in the Middle East. They expressed concern about the growing instability and its potential impact on regional security.
President Nechirvan Barzani emphasized the importance of dialogue and diplomatic engagement. He noted that peaceful solutions remain the most effective way to address current challenges. Therefore, he called for stronger international efforts to prevent further escalation.
President Macron shared similar concerns. He stressed that continued coordination among international partners is necessary to reduce tensions and maintain stability.
