The Cultural and Artistic Department of Chamchamal will soon participate in a significant theater event. This group is currently preparing for the Eastern Kurdistan Theater Festival. Furthermore, the festival will take place in Saqqez.
Officials recently sent an invitation to the Chamchamal department. Consequently, the team will join the third annual Ziwini Traditional Theater Festival. Moreover, their selected play is titled “Yari û Bomb” (Game and Bomb).
Latif Fateh wrote this particular play. Idris Shawkat also directs the production. The Chamchamal department is producing the entire performance. Additionally, this department operates under the General Directorate of Culture and Arts in Sulaymaniyah.
The festival schedule is now confirmed. It will begin on October 8th. The events will then continue until October 11th. Amir Zarea Zada will oversee the festival’s proceedings. The Chamchamal team is eagerly preparing for their debut. This participation highlights the region’s vibrant cultural activities. It also fosters artistic exchange between different areas. Ultimately, the event promises to showcase talented local theater groups.
