Iraq’s political leaders met in Duhok to discuss solutions after the elections. Prime Minister Masrour Barzani welcomed Ammar al-Hakim at the MEPS forum to focus on Iraq’s next government. Al-Hakim supported these views and called for careful collaboration. He stated that Iraq needs dialogue rooted in law to prevent misunderstandings. Additionally, he stressed that respecting agreements strengthens citizens’ confidence in government institutions. Together, Barzani and al-Hakim suggested that Iraq can achieve stability through cooperation and legal guidance. They agreed that parties must work together to ensure smooth government formation.
