Duhok – Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) Vice President and Prime Minister Masrour Barzani delivered a rousing speech at a large campaign rally in Duhok, outlining the KDP’s record of achievements and its vision for a stronger, more self-reliant Kurdistan.
Addressing thousands of supporters, Barzani declared, “No one will rebuild our nation but ourselves. The strength of Kurdistan lies in the strength of the KDP, and the strength of the KDP lies in you.”
He emphasized the Kurdistan Regional Government’s (KRG) efforts under the Ninth Cabinet to strengthen infrastructure, diversify the economy, and promote stability and prosperity despite regional and political challenges.
Barzani also underscored the importance of unity and active participation in the upcoming Iraqi parliamentary elections, urging voters to back the KDP’s candidates as the defenders of Kurdish rights and progress in Baghdad.
“We have faced conspiracies, crises, and pressure, yet we continue to build and move forward with resilience,” he said, calling on citizens to protect Kurdistan’s hard-won achievements through democratic participation.
The rally in Duhok, a KDP stronghold, marked one of the largest gatherings of the campaign season, showcasing widespread support and enthusiasm ahead of the November 11 elections.
