New Large Park Set to Open Soon in Duhok

Duhok is preparing to unveil its largest park, built on 48 acres of land with over 50,000 trees planted throughout the area.

Sarzhaldan Park is quickly becoming one of the most stunning green spaces in the Badinan region. The park promises a peaceful environment in the heart of the city, designed to bring both beauty and recreation to local families.

Salah Mohammed, the project supervisor, confirmed that Prime Minister Masrour Barzani laid the foundation stone last year. Originally, the project was scheduled to take two years. However, a local company managed to finish all construction within a single year. The work is now fully complete, and preparations for the grand opening are underway.

Visitors can expect a wide range of features inside the park. It includes a dedicated playground for children, shaded seating areas, a youth sports facility, a mosque, and a collection of elegant fountains.

Soon, the park will open to the public, offering a vibrant and green destination for families, tourists, and youth across Duhok.
