Erbil – Prime Minister Masrour Barzani received Osman Baydemir, the prominent Turkish political figure, in Erbil on Monday.
During the meeting, both leaders discussed regional developments, the importance of dialogue, and cooperation on political and social issues affecting Kurdistan and neighboring areas. They emphasized strengthening ties, promoting peace, and supporting democratic processes across the region.
PM Barzani highlighted the Kurdistan Region’s commitment to stability, coexistence, and constructive engagement with international partners. Baydemir praised the Kurdistan Region’s efforts in fostering dialogue and inclusive governance.
The discussion also focused on opportunities for collaboration in education, culture, and civil society initiatives, aiming to benefit communities across Kurdistan. Both sides stressed the value of continued communication to address regional challenges and enhance mutual understanding.
