President Nechirvan Barzani Discusses Regional Tensions, EU Support in Call with European Commission President

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region – President Nechirvan Barzani held a phone call with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen to discuss rising regional tensions and international efforts to maintain stability.

During the call, both sides reviewed recent developments in the Middle East. They expressed concern over the escalation and its impact on regional security. They also warned that continued instability could have broader consequences for neighboring countries.
