Residents of Arbat’s Martyrs’ Neighborhood Concerned Over Stray Animal Increase

Residents of the Martyrs’ Neighborhood in Arbat have expressed growing concern about the rising number of stray animals in their area. They say the issue has recently worsened, causing fear among children and health worries for families.

Locals explained that herds of stray dogs and other animals roam the streets, especially at night, creating safety and hygiene problems. Some residents mentioned that several people have already contacted local authorities, asking for urgent action to control the situation.

According to neighborhood representatives, repeated calls have been made to the Arbat administration to organize animal control measures and clean the streets regularly. They also urged the government to establish a shelter or vaccination program to handle stray animals humanely.
