Soran Supervisor Halgurd Sheikh Najib praised the city’s newly opened bridge as a vital step toward growth and development. His remarks came during an interview with Kurdistan24 on Monday, coinciding with the inauguration led by Prime Minister Masrour Barzani.
Najib described the bridge as a symbol of Soran’s “prosperity and steady progress,” highlighting its role in easing transportation and connecting key neighborhoods. He added that the project reflects the Kurdistan Regional Government’s commitment to balanced regional development and improved public services.
The supervisor emphasized that such infrastructure projects strengthen the local economy, boost trade, and create new opportunities for residents. He also noted that the new bridge will help reduce traffic congestion and improve access to vital areas within the city.
Najib expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Barzani and the KRG for prioritizing projects that enhance daily life in Soran, reaffirming the administration’s goal to make the city a model of modern development and prosperity in the region.
