Which Foods Are Causing Allergies?

Many people suffer from food allergies. Some react to one type of food, while others react to several. Doctors can usually identify the specific trigger foods through medical tests and symptom tracking.

Food allergies occur when the immune system overreacts after eating certain foods. This reaction can happen within minutes. For example, eating even a small amount of the wrong food may lead to symptoms such as itching, skin rashes, swelling, or breathing problems.

According to Dr. Elina Salomatinia, a food expert, the most common allergy-causing foods include bananas, milk, eggs, soy, nuts, fish, and seafood. In some regions, people also react to celery, mustard, and caraway.

These allergic reactions vary in strength. Some people only get a mild rash. Others may struggle to breathe or feel pain. In more serious cases, food allergies can even affect the nervous system and require emergency treatment.

It is very important to avoid foods that cause these symptoms. Early diagnosis helps prevent severe reactions. Families should consult with food specialists if they suspect allergies in children or adults.

This growing health concern affects many across the region. Therefore, awareness, caution, and medical advice are essential.
