Eggs Don’t Contain Harmful Cholesterol, Study Confirms

The study also noted that cholesterol found in food doesn’t always translate to higher cholesterol in the blood. The liver naturally produces cholesterol, and dietary intake only modestly affects its levels. This finding further supports the idea that eggs are safe for most people, even those with heart concerns.

Health experts urge people to focus more on lifestyle factors. Smoking, lack of exercise, high sugar intake, and processed foods cause far more damage than eggs ever could. As such, eggs don’t contain harmful cholesterol becomes a repeated message for nutrition awareness.

The researchers behind this study recommend moderation, as with any food. Two eggs a day fall within a safe range for healthy individuals. Those with special health conditions should consult their doctors before making dietary changes.

This research could impact public health guidelines across Iraq. For decades, many citizens limited their egg consumption due to warnings about cholesterol. Now, this study provides a clear, science-backed reason to reintroduce eggs into daily meals.
