This September, Milan Fashion Week will feature an exciting new talent as Kurdish designer Lara Dizeyi prepares to debut her latest collection, Milan Enchanted. The event, running from September 23 to 29, will highlight 30 unique designs blending modern aesthetics with cultural influences.
Dizeyi, who previously showcased her work in Paris two years ago, expressed her excitement about presenting in Milan, calling it the “capital of fashion.” She revealed that her new collection merges bold colors, contemporary styles, and cultural motifs into a harmonious display unlike anything seen before.
Preparations for the showcase began eight months ago, with Dizeyi dedicating herself to perfecting each piece. She described the upcoming exhibition as deeply meaningful, reflecting her passion for fashion and heritage.
Born in Austria to renowned artist Homer Dizeyi, Lara speaks multiple languages and holds a degree in international relations. Now based in Erbil, she has gained international recognition, with her designs featured in major fashion publications.
This milestone marks another step in Dizeyi’s rising career, as she brings Kurdish creativity to the global fashion stage.
