Soran Municipality Begins Campaign to Clear Animals from City Center

Soran Municipality has launched a new campaign to keep animals away from the city center. Acting mayor Bzhar Saeed explained that starting Monday, municipal teams will remove any animals found on the streets or near public spaces.

The campaign targets both large and small animals that often cause problems in busy areas. Officials believe the move will improve cleanliness and safety for residents and visitors. They also stressed that keeping animals away from markets, schools, and government offices will create a more organized environment.

Saeed confirmed that the municipality has prepared teams to act quickly. These groups will patrol crowded streets and seize any animals left unattended. Authorities say the campaign reflects growing concerns from citizens about public health and traffic disruption.

In addition, the municipality plans to cooperate with animal owners to raise awareness. They want residents to understand the importance of keeping animals in proper shelters instead of letting them roam freely. Officials promised that the seized animals will be handled in a safe and responsible way.

The campaign marks a significant step in the city’s wider efforts to modernize public spaces. Leaders in Soran hope that cleaner streets will support tourism and daily life.
