A talented Kurdish artist recently participated in a major international art event in Poland. She then opened a special solo exhibition in the same country.
The main story began two weeks ago. A large artistic event took place in Poland. The event featured music, songs, and several seminars. Furthermore, twenty-eight international painters participated in the exhibition. Three of these artists were Kurdish. Other artists came from Croatia, Macedonia, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia, and Italy.
Twelve days after the event, organizers opened a new exhibition. It showcased the work of the participating artists. Among them was Kurdish painter Shirivan Barani. Her artwork focused powerfully on the theme of women.
Moreover, Shirivan Barani just returned to Erbil yesterday. Today, she joined a cultural program for an interview. She spoke enthusiastically about her painting and her entire artistic journey. She also detailed her wonderful experience at the event in Poland.
