KDP Vice President Masrour Barzani delivered a powerful message to voters, declaring that those who tried to weaken the Kurdistan Region “failed—and will fail again.” Speaking at a major campaign rally, Barzani framed the upcoming election as a decisive moment to defend the region’s constitutional rights and political stability.
Barzani emphasized that the Kurdistan Region has endured many challenges but continues to stand strong through unity and determination. He said that both external pressure and internal division have failed to undermine the will of the Kurdish people. “Our rights are protected by the constitution,” he told supporters, urging citizens to vote in defense of their autonomy and future.
Highlighting his government’s achievements, Barzani pointed to major infrastructure projects, education reforms, and service improvements as evidence of resilience and progress. He noted that these accomplishments reflect the determination of the KRG to build a stronger and more self-reliant region despite ongoing political and economic challenges.
Barzani concluded his remarks with a call for solidarity, urging voters to remain steadfast and united. He reaffirmed that the KDP’s mission is to protect the people’s rights and ensure continued progress across the Kurdistan Region.
