PM Barzani Inaugurates Landmark Bridge in Soran, Boosting Regional Growth

Prime Minister Masrour Barzani visited Soran to inaugurate the city’s new landmark bridge, marking a major milestone in the Kurdistan Regional Government’s ongoing development strategy.

During the ceremony, Prime Minister Barzani emphasized that the bridge represents more than an infrastructure project—it symbolizes the government’s commitment to balanced growth and improved connectivity across the Kurdistan Region.

He noted that the project will ease transportation, support local trade, and enhance daily life for residents. The new bridge links key neighborhoods and facilitates the movement of goods and travelers between Soran and nearby districts.

Local officials and residents attended the event, describing the bridge as one of the city’s most important public works. They highlighted that such projects reflect the KRG’s dedication to regional progress and equitable investment.

Prime Minister Barzani reaffirmed that his government will continue prioritizing infrastructure and service development to strengthen the economy and improve living standards throughout the Kurdistan Region.
