Dentist in Kurdistan Shares Online Tips to Relieve Tooth Pain

Erbil – A Kurdish dental specialist has begun offering online guidance to help people manage tooth pain at home safely.

Dr. Shno Jalal, a dentist based in Erbil, explained that many people suffer from toothaches during the colder months, but few visit clinics immediately. Therefore, she decided to use social media to share practical advice for quick relief and prevention.

She noted that maintaining good oral hygiene remains the most effective method to prevent pain. “People should brush their teeth at least twice a day and avoid consuming too many sugary foods,” she said.

Dr. Jalal also emphasized using saltwater rinses, gentle flossing, and cold compresses to reduce inflammation. “These simple steps help ease pain until professional treatment becomes available,” she added.

However, she warned against relying solely on home remedies. “Tooth pain often signals deeper problems such as infection or nerve damage. Everyone should see a dentist as soon as possible,” she said.

Dr. Jalal plans to continue her awareness campaign online, offering weekly videos about oral health, gum care, and proper brushing techniques.

Many residents welcomed her initiative, saying it helps those living in remote areas without easy access to dental services.
