PM Barzani Praises Peshmerga Forces for Their Bravery and Service

Haji Omaran – Prime Minister Masrour Barzani visited the Peshmerga forces stationed in Haji Omaran, where he commended their courage, loyalty, and sacrifice in safeguarding the Kurdistan Region.

During the visit, PM Barzani personally met with commanders and soldiers, highlighting their key role in defending Kurdistan’s constitutional rights and ensuring the region’s stability and peace. He said that the Peshmerga’s dedication continues to inspire unity and pride among the Kurdish people.

Barzani reaffirmed the government’s unwavering support for the modernization and reform of the Peshmerga Ministry. He stressed that strengthening their capabilities remains a cornerstone of the KRG’s security and defense policy.

He also noted that the Peshmerga forces embody the spirit of resilience and patriotism that defines Kurdistan, emphasizing that their service protects both the land and its democratic values.

Barzani concluded by expressing his gratitude to every Peshmerga member and their families for their sacrifices, assuring them that the government will continue to improve their living and working conditions.
