Erbil — Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani will soon unveil a major new public project named “Reroy Zhiyan,” meaning “Life Stream.” The development will transform part of Erbil into a vibrant green destination focused on leisure, sustainability, and community well-being.
The project centers around a flowing watercourse that runs through the city, connecting neighborhoods and creating scenic walking and cycling paths. It also includes recreational spaces, rest areas, and modern landscaping that blend nature with urban life. Prime Minister Barzani plans to highlight the project as a symbol of progress under the Kurdistan Regional Government’s Ninth Cabinet. He aims to showcase how sustainable design and urban development can work together to make Erbil a more livable and attractive city.
