Davutoglu Praises Masrour Barzani’s Economic Progress

At MEPS 2025, former Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu commended Kurdistan’s economic achievements under Prime Minister Masrour Barzani. He described the region’s progress as remarkable, highlighting improvements in infrastructure, investment, and public services. Moreover, he noted that these developments demonstrate the potential of effective governance and strategic planning.

Davutoglu also stressed the need for a new vision to rebuild the Middle East. He argued that regional cooperation and economic innovation are essential for long-term stability. Furthermore, he emphasized that investment in human capital and sustainable development can transform economies and improve citizens’ lives.

Barzani’s leadership, he said, sets a positive example for other regions. He praised the Kurdistan Region’s ability to attract foreign investment and implement reforms. Additionally, he noted that economic growth supports social stability and strengthens public trust in government institutions.

The former Turkish PM encouraged further collaboration between Kurdistan and its neighbors. He argued that partnerships, guided by strategic planning, can accelerate development and create shared prosperity. He also underlined that long-term regional peace depends on inclusive economic policies and visionary leadership.

Together, these remarks highlighted Kurdistan’s growing role as a hub of economic innovation. Observers now expect continued progress and increasing opportunities for investment. Many hope that this momentum will support sustainable growth and regional stability in the years ahead.
