Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani met with the United Kingdom’s National Security Adviser during the World Economic Forum in Davos on Wednesday. The discussion focused on regional security, countering ISIS threats, and the urgent need for a ceasefire in Syria.

Prime Minister Barzani emphasized the Kurdistan Region’s commitment to fighting terrorism and maintaining stability in the region. He highlighted ongoing efforts to strengthen coordination with international partners to counter extremist groups. “The Kurdistan Region stands ready to work closely with allies to prevent the resurgence of ISIS and secure peace for civilians,” Barzani said.

The UK Security Adviser praised the Kurdistan Region’s role as a stable partner in a volatile region. He highlighted the importance of intelligence sharing, joint operations, and international cooperation to tackle extremist threats effectively.
