PM Barzani Meets UAE Minister to Strengthen Ties

Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani met with a senior United Arab Emirates minister during the World Economic Forum in Davos to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations. The talks emphasized expanding cooperation across political, economic, and social sectors.

During the meeting, Prime Minister Barzani highlighted the Kurdistan Region’s commitment to building strong partnerships with Gulf states. He emphasized that sustained dialogue and collaboration are essential for regional stability and long-term development. “The Kurdistan Region values its relationship with the UAE and looks forward to deeper cooperation in multiple areas,” Barzani said.

The UAE minister praised the Kurdistan Region for its proactive role in regional diplomacy and economic growth. He noted that the UAE seeks to strengthen ties with partners who promote stability, investment, and social development. Both sides emphasized that shared priorities include security, trade, technology, and investment opportunities.
