Prime Minister Masrour Barzani is taking part in the World Governments Summit in Dubai. The summit brings together leaders from around the world. It starts on February 3 and continues for three days.
Moreover, the summit carries the theme “Shaping Future Governments.” Leaders, ministers, and officials are attending from many countries. In total, more than 60 heads of state and government are present. Additionally, representatives from 150 governments have arrived in Dubai.
Furthermore, the Kurdistan Regional Government delegation includes senior officials. Prime Minister Masrour Barzani will deliver a speech during the summit. He will also hold meetings with several global leaders. These talks will focus on cooperation, governance, and regional stability.
Meanwhile, organizers confirmed that this edition is the largest so far. Security teams have deployed widely across the venue. Around 17,000 personnel are managing safety and logistics. As a result, events are proceeding smoothly.
In addition, the summit hosts global thinkers and policy experts. The total number of participants reaches more than 6,000 figures. Notably, presidents and prime ministers from Europe, Africa, and Latin America are attending. Several Arab leaders are also participating.
At the same time, global business leaders are present. Over 700 chief executives from major companies joined the discussions. These companies include technology, energy, and aviation firms. Nobel Prize laureates are also contributing to policy sessions.
The agenda covers global governance and economic development. It also addresses social well-being and future cities. Organizers scheduled more than 450 dialogue sessions. They also planned 25 international forums.
Finally, the summit will announce major global awards. Organizers will also publish strategic policy reports. Prime Minister Barzani attended the summit last year as well. His participation highlights the Kurdistan Region’s growing international engagement.
