PM Barzani, UAE President Discuss Bilateral Ties and Regional Developments

Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government Masrour Barzani met with UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments. The meeting took place on the sidelines of ongoing diplomatic engagements in the region.

During the talks, both leaders reviewed relations between the Kurdistan Region and the United Arab Emirates. They emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation in economic, political, and investment fields. In addition, they highlighted the need to expand coordination in areas that support stability and development.

PM Barzani and the UAE President also discussed the overall situation in Iraq. They exchanged views on political developments and efforts to promote stability and dialogue among national actors. Moreover, they stressed the importance of constitutional processes and peaceful solutions to political challenges.

The discussions further covered the latest developments in Syria. Both sides reviewed regional security concerns and their impact on neighboring countries. They underlined the need to reduce tensions and support political solutions that protect civilians and preserve regional stability.
