The e-Psûle electricity discount grants households a 20 percent reduction on their electricity bills when they pay electronically through the unified platform. Moreover, officials confirmed that the incentive will remain valid for a 30-day period.
Under this initiative, any household that completes payment through e-Psûle will qualify for the e-Psûle electricity discount. The program applies whether residents pay an existing balance or a newly issued bill under the Runaki project. Therefore, families can benefit immediately without waiting for a specific billing cycle.
The KRG introduced this step to accelerate digital transformation and reduce reliance on cash payments. In addition, authorities aim to simplify transactions and increase transparency in public services. Officials emphasized that electronic payments strengthen efficiency while also supporting financial modernization.
