KRG Interior Minister Warns ISIS Remains Significant Threat Across Iraq and Syria

Kurdistan Region Interior Minister Reber Ahmed warned that the ISIS threat Iraq Syria remains serious and persistent. He stressed that security forces must maintain vigilance and coordination to prevent instability.

Ahmed stated that ISIS continues to operate in remote and disputed areas across Iraq and Syria. He explained that the group exploits security gaps and regional tensions. Therefore, he called for stronger intelligence sharing and joint operations among regional and international partners.
