In a statement, President Nechirvan Barzani stressed the need for immediate action. He said the federal government must fulfill its responsibilities. “It is necessary for the Federal Government of Iraq to prevent these crimes and terrorist attacks,” he said.
He also emphasized the need to protect civilians. According to Barzani, such attacks must not be repeated. Therefore, he urged stronger measures to ensure safety across the Kurdistan Region. Meanwhile, the drone strike caused fear among residents. As a result, local authorities increased security and monitoring in affected areas.
