Kurdistan Region PM Masrour Barzani Demands Balisan Reparations

Erbil, Kurdistan Region – Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani renewed calls for reparations on the anniversary of the Balisan chemical attacks. He urged authorities to deliver long-overdue justice for victims and their families.

In his statement, the Prime Minister emphasized the gravity of the chemical attacks carried out during the rule of Saddam Hussein. He described the assault as a grave crime against civilians. Moreover, he stressed that the effects of the attack still impact families today.
