This method ensures that popular chatbots follow the region’s unified Kurdish orthography. Consequently, tools like Gemini and ChatGPT will produce text that aligns with official standards.
Currently, many AI models pick up inconsistent spelling conventions from various online sources. Therefore, the General Directorate of Curriculum Programs is guiding technology users through a simple correction process. This strategy allows the public to teach AI systems standardized rules directly.
First, users must download an official summary document regarding the ministry’s orthography rules. Second, individuals upload this specific file directly into the AI chat window. Meanwhile, the user prompts the system to read the document carefully. The user also requests a quick summary to confirm that the chatbot understands the rules. Third, users must explicitly command the AI system to maintain a total commitment to these rules. This standard applies to all future tasks, including translation, text editing, and formatting.
Furthermore, officials acknowledge that AI systems might not absorb every single rule immediately. These tools previously learned from diverse and conflicting online text. However, repeated use of these instructions will successfully adapt the systems over time.
The Orthography and Standardization Committee developed this project with full endorsement from the Kurdish Academy.
