Erbil Water Supply Cut for 30+ Hours After Heavy Rain Disrupts Treatment Systems

He stated that the affected many neighborhoods across the city. Moreover, he emphasized that safety standards require clear and clean water before distribution resumes.

Technical teams have continued testing water quality on an hourly basis. They monitor turbidity levels and assess whether treatment plants can operate effectively. In addition, crews remain on standby to restart the system once conditions improve.
