ERBIL, Kurdistan Region – Iran Kurdistan Region relations remain strong across all sectors, according to Iran’s Consul General in Erbil, who expressed interest in expanding cooperation further.
“We have good relations with the Kurdistan Region in all sectors, and we want to develop our relations further,” Consul General Nasrollah Assadi said in remarks to local media.
The diplomat emphasized that Tehran maintains constructive engagement with the Kurdistan Region in political, economic, trade, and social fields. He noted that cross-border cooperation continues to play an important role in strengthening bilateral ties.
