The Kurdistan Region and the United Arab Emirates have agreed to strengthen cooperation in the energy and infrastructure sectors, with a focus on long-term investment and sustainable power solutions. Officials from both sides discussed shared priorities during recent high-level meetings aimed at expanding economic and technical partnerships.

During the talks, representatives highlighted the Kurdistan Region UAE energy cooperation as a key pillar for future development. They emphasized the importance of modern infrastructure and reliable electricity supply in supporting economic growth and improving public services. As a result, both sides expressed interest in deepening collaboration across the power sector.

Moreover, officials reviewed progress under the Kurdistan Region’s Runaki program, which aims to provide a continuous 24-hour electricity supply to households and businesses.
