Davos, Switzerland – Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani emphasized the security of Western Kurdistan during a series of high-level meetings at the 2026 World Economic Forum in Davos. He stressed the protection of Kurdish rights while promoting regional stability and investment opportunities.

PM Barzani met with global leaders and international investors to discuss ways to strengthen security in Western Kurdistan. He highlighted that ongoing regional instability threatens civilians and hinders economic development. Furthermore, he stressed that addressing security concerns is crucial for long-term peace.
