Saudi Arabia, Jordan Condemn Attack on UAE Consulate in Kurdistan Region

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region – Saudi Arabia and Jordan have strongly condemned the attack targeting the United Arab Emirates’ consulate in the Kurdistan Region.

In separate statements, the foreign ministries of both countries denounced the incident and expressed solidarity with the UAE following the attack.

Officials stressed that diplomatic missions must be protected under international law. They also warned that attacks on diplomatic facilities threaten regional stability.

The attack on UAE consulate Kurdistan has drawn widespread regional reactions. Saudi Arabia emphasized the importance of respecting international conventions that safeguard embassies and consulates.

Similarly, Jordan’s Foreign Ministry condemned the attack and voiced support for the UAE. The ministry reaffirmed its rejection of any actions that endanger diplomatic missions or their personnel.

Furthermore, both countries stressed the need for accountability and preventive measures to avoid similar incidents in the future.
