July Salary List Nears Completion in Erbil

The Ministry of Finance and Economy in the Kurdistan Region is finalizing the salary list for July. Accounting departments have been asked to start the settlement process for this month’s payments.

Right after distributing May salaries, the ministry shifted focus to preparing the July payroll. At the same time, it has been working to secure 120 billion dinars in oil revenue from June to help fund the upcoming payments.

A reliable source from the ministry confirmed the update. “The July salary list is in its final stage. The settlement process starts today, and the list will be ready within days,” the source said.

Today, officials at the ministry are holding a meeting to review recent discussions between technical delegations in Erbil and Baghdad. The meeting will cover the latest transfer of oil revenue for June and planning for July salaries.

Earlier —after 83 days of delay—Baghdad finally sent the May salary funds to the Kurdistan Region. The total amount was nearly 974 billion dinars. Just three days later, the Kurdistan ministry completed the full distribution of salaries across all departments and government offices.
