Rizgari Veterinary Hospital Records 80 Dog Bite Cases in One Month

Rizgari Veterinary Hospital in Erbil reported that it treated 80 cases of dog bites and 86 cases of scorpion attacks in a single month. The hospital also recorded two incidents of snake bites during the same period.

The monthly report, covering September, shows that a total of 168 animal-related injury cases were treated. These included dog attacks, cat attacks, and snake bites, highlighting the hospital’s active role in managing public and animal health incidents.

Specifically, the hospital documented 80 cases of dog bites, 86 cases of scorpion attacks, and 2 cases of snake bites. Hospital staff provided immediate care, vaccinations, and follow-up treatment to all patients, ensuring proper medical attention and preventing further complications.
