Kurdish Football Star Sherko Karim Supports Erbil SC

Karim recently became a member in Zakho SC and clarified that this had no financial or contractual motives. He emphasized that his actions were motivated purely by support for his home club.

The Kurdish national star stated he is ready to help Erbil SC in any way possible. To support the club financially, he sold one of his cars to assist in covering debts and ensuring the club’s survival. Karim noted that Erbil SC’s management had not responded to requests for assistance, prompting him to act personally.

Born in Kirkuk, Karim has always maintained strong ties to his hometown and to Erbil SC. He addressed local fans directly, saying, “This club is my life,” highlighting his emotional connection and commitment to the team’s success.
