ERBIL – A German parliamentary delegation visited Erbil on Wednesday to strengthen ties with the Kurdistan Region. The delegation held meetings with top Kurdistan Region officials to discuss bilateral cooperation and developments in Western Kurdistan. During the talks, both sides emphasized the importance of political dialogue, regional security, and economic collaboration.
The delegation met with Kurdistan Region leadership, including senior ministers and security officials. They discussed ongoing coordination on humanitarian aid and the protection of civilians in Western Kurdistan. Both sides stressed the need to continue addressing challenges posed by extremist groups, while reinforcing cooperation in defense and intelligence sharing.
