Kurdish Researcher Parastoo Qader Marzi Wins Gold for Cancer Breakthrough

Parastoo Qader Marzi, a young Kurdish scientist from Eastern Kurdistan, has received a gold award in the United States for his breakthrough cancer research. Marzi, from the Dehwalan community in Sanandaj, developed a new, effective method to treat cancer using artificial intelligence (AI).

According to her research, AI analyzes liver cells in detail and proposes innovative treatment strategies. Marzi also created an intelligent therapeutic system for cancer patients, which could transform how this deadly disease is managed. His work has drawn global attention and praise from the medical community.

Marzi presented her discoveries at the international “Silicon Valley” festival in the U.S., where he was awarded a gold medal for her pioneering efforts. This recognition underscores the global impact of Kurdish scientists in medicine and cancer research.

She has authored several books and scientific papers in cancer research and has earned a strong reputation among international experts. Despite some media claims linking her to Iran, Marzi has no connections to the country and identifies fully as a Kurdish researcher leading a team in the United States.

Marzi’s achievement highlights the role of Kurdish scientists in advancing medical science and demonstrates how technology, such as AI, can create new solutions for complex health challenges. Her work offers hope for cancer patients worldwide and positions Kurdish research on the international stage.
